Discuss how preserving the native plants you have and adding more of them to your landscape benefits you, your horses, and the environment.
Dispel some myths, talk about suitable native plants and their uses, explore information on some of the plants that are toxic to horses.
Plus?.Get a voucher for two free three-gallon native plants!
(One voucher per household, while supplies last.  Must be a Palm Beach County resident.)

Pre-Registration Encouraged.  Call 790-6070 to pre-register.

Speaker:  Adrienne Deutsch, Program Assistant for the Native Canopy Education Program*, former dressage competitor and horse owner.

*The Native Canopy Education Program is a joint effort of PBC Department of Environmental Resources Management (ERM) and Cooperative Extension Service Department.  The program offers Palm Beach County residents free native trees and shrubs for their properties as part of an effort to repopulate some of the native canopy that has been lost over the years due to the spread of invasive plants and development.
