Good News, finally!

RE: Tennesse Walker Training. It is now against the law to train Tennessee Walker using chemicals, hood chains and balls or anything that causes pain to the animal (www.uhvrc.or and Hoslistic horse.com) No more hitting in heads or anywhere on the bodies with plastic, wood - nothin'!!!!!!! After 40 years of this abuse-its now ended. There will always be those who want to make a fast buck who will continue-I'd love to catch them red handed-In Texas, we shoot and then ask questions!

RE: Dog fighting. Again it has always been agains the law but now even if you are in attendance or knowing about this abusive sport- you will be locked up for one year also-possibly fined etc.

In both cases, fellow horse lovers, it is now up to us and others to get the officials to install a 800number so people can report these practices for a reward. I hope everyone on this board will sign the petition I will begin once I get all the information I need to begin. If in our area, weneed to be the eyes of those who enforce these laws.

PS: Does anyone know whatever happened to thosse men who got caught slaughtering horses on people's farms where the trial was to be in Miami a couple of years ago.?
