Equestrians of all levels and disciplines can gain from developing a sharper eye for a beautifully put together horse. Nationally renowned clinician/trainer Emily Abbate of Abbate Performance Horses is excited to respond to a much requested need for hands-on conformation workshops that will explore the art of evaluating correctness in bone structure, musculature and body proportions in relation to one another. Demonstrations and discussions will focus on conformational factors that affect, deter from and enhance performance.

Varying opinions within the industry on conformation faults
Recognizing issues that may result in susceptibility to limitations and injury
Age related conformational changes
Conformation of the hoof
Rider Conformation
Evaluating sales photos and videos
Conformation check list run through for buyers
The overuse of key sales terms such as “uphill”
Successful sport horses that out-perform their conformation - how a great attitude and excellent, consistent training program can conquer all
