Can someone tell me how come there are so many dogs being lost.  The days of allowing your dogs to wonder around is over friends!  My God, would you allow your children to run around loose outside as a toddler? It's just too dangerous.  Good luck to anyone who can't find their dog.

I havent seen any more than usual. Hey, it happens. Even some of the best owners can have a lost pet at one time or another. Animals are curious and can wander, or be startled and run. Dont make people feel bad for posting a lost ad. At least they care enough to try and find their pet, some people dont.

yur right Pickles.  Just seems like so many lately.  I caught a car full of ethnic guys trying to run down this dog-I was on my horse and ran them down -well, the dog got away.  $9 per dog is the going rate from local medical schools and RX companies to bring back strays. Had experience with this. I just know if I lost one of my kids (pets) I'd truly die.

Over a good 10 years of owning our dog, she once wondered out an open gate.  I was sick!  Thank heavens for my neighbor who took me around in his golf cart and lo and behold she was right on the street behind us. I bet it took some time off of my life - I was that worried about where she was.  (and thinking about my husbands reaction......)  Whew!

Some dogs are escape artists.  Plus, some dogs hate thunder with a passion and get all riled up over it and the rainy season is trying to begin.

I've heard of dogs getting napped for medical experiment stuff on tv.  Hopefully there aren't any around here.
