Heres something to chew on.  I was on the net and stumbled onto this site quite by accident, but wouldn't it be great for feeding our horses?.
It said livestock feeder at the top of the page, I need to do more reading but it certainly is intriguing.

I saw this in an equine magazine and checked it out.  The only problem is the price, very expensive!  If I remember right it was upwards of 20K.  If you find out something different and it's a considerably less expensive item, please post and let us know.  Something we may all have to consider if we have many more years of droughts and/or floods.
