i usually have calls in august for stalls for season it seems awfully quiet this year is anyone else expirencing this as well?

We are feeling it, typically our RV park/Campground is booked for the season with a waiting list. As of now its at about 10% booked. Putting in the extra effort to support local small business's and vendors may need to be more of a priority for all of us locals this season.

things are slow-ish with the music season too. the gigs I am getting are booked 2 days before they happen, UGH!

The fear of the economy....but I think people might be waiting till the last minute and then they will come....maybe.....

My guess is that they are on their way... I was in North Fl last weekend, and saw at LEAST 8 commercial shipping vans on their way south... I have also seen locally an uptick of out of state farrier trucks.  With all the nasty weather this summer up north, it is my thoughts that they will want to be in Florida sooner rather than later.
