This is a series of non-rated horse shows for young horses to get experience at shows, a great market place for sales and win some prize mone! It's located at WEF on Tuesdays each month starting Jan 22, 2011. Prize list is on the Equestrian Sport Productions, LLC website:
http://www.equestriansport.com/ click on Horse Shows, then Prize lists. Click on the Prize List Final YHS WEF link.

Anyone who might have off site stalls (from WEF showgrounds) and turnout for some of the young horse coming from outside FL please contact me privately. We are looking for reasonably priced facilities to put on a list to encourage people to bring young horses in from farther areas. They will need to stay for all three shows or for about three months. You can be as far away as Ocala/Orlando areas.

Thanks and hope to see you there!

Question on horse's age...is it the age as of the actual birthdate listed on registration papers, or as of Jan. 1, 2011?  For example, if a horse is turning 6 during the show series in January/Feb is it eligible to compete in the whole series or only the shows it is still 5?  Read through the rules but didn't see anything about it there.  Smiley

Good question.  Mine, being a TB, technically just turned 6 on Saturday.  BUT, he's a late May baby.  He just came off the track in June...so I would MORE than say he's a good candidate for the green/young horse series....

Let us know!
