I have a 22 year old with COPD. Have had remarkable success with SmartBreathe from Smartpak. Costs about $25 per month.(add $7.95 shipping if not using smartpaks)

Does either of these work well enough that you don't need to follow up with Dex (dexamethasone) for the COPD or heaves? I hate Dex and am always afraid of founder from it.

I use peppermint oil in my paints water bucket daily - generally 3 to 4 drops.  Also, I put a couple of drops on his nose - helps to open his airway.  The peppermint must be pure grade - I buy my peppermint of Young Living Oils.

I also use peppermint oil on my horses' feed (thanks Reindance!) - 3-4 drops on top of their feed with each feeding.  I'm having good to great results with bee pollen and the homeopathic lobelia combined with arnica 200.  One horse is having a very good recovery from a severe bout and the other is still holding his own with slow but steady improvement.
