Katie Jones Wins Free Wellness Program From Palm Beach Equine Clinic!

June 30,2010- 14 year old, Katie Jones, of Wellington was picked in a random email drawing to win one free Wellness Program from Palm Beach Equine Clinic. The program includes a year of free vaccinations, wormers, veterinarian consultations, and more. The clinic designed the program to help clients stay on top of their vaccinations while saving money.

Katie Jones is a freshman at Wellington High School and enrolled in the pre-veterinary program. The winning horse is medium pony, Comedy Hour, also known as “Romeo”. Romeo is a Bay, 7 year-old, 13.2 hand, Welsh/Thoroughbred gelding. Katie bought Romeo when he was 4 years old and now competes with him in the Green Medium Pony Hunters. “ He was a challenge for me when I first bought him but now he goes to shows and wins champion or reserve almost every time,” said Katie. “We have really come a long way together. He has taught me so much. I hope to bring him to pony finals in 2011 and show in the Medium Green Pony Hunters. I am excited about winning the Wellness Program for a year from Palm Beach Equine, this is who we use as our vet anyways and it insures Romeo the best care for the year.”
