You can write about horse trailer scams on the internet. I bought a horse trailer off of Equinehits.com website and it was fraud. I have sent many emails to that website regarding this scam and they have never responded to me nor have they taken the trailer listing off their website. I don't want this to happen to any one else, so I've been trying to get the word out there. These people are good, they sent me fake ebay paperwork that was supposed to be from Ebay Motors Protection payment program. They told me that because of the amount of the sale that I needed to send the money Western Union to their local ebay agent. Once the money was sent they instructed me to send an additional payment for shipping insurance. I started questioning them and told them that I would not send any more money. Well, that was the last time I ever heard from the owner or the ebay agent. I never got my trailer and I lost the $2,800 that I have been saving up for years. I have filed police reports, FBI reports, western union fraud reports, ebay fraud reports, etc. You name it, I've filed it. Unfortunately, the police and the FBI have told me that because of the "small" amount of money stolen, not a whole lot can be done. But if it were a "large" amount like $50,000 then they would be more anxious to look further in to this. It's pretty unfortunate how are legal system works, or doesn't work for that matter. If you need anymore information about this case please don't hesitate to email me at olympia80@hotmail.com
